Senior IPS officer R P Upadhyay has recently decided to hang up his gloves by retiring from India’s premium police service. Mr. Upadhyay, a 1991-batch AGMUT cadre IPS officer, is presently posted as Special Commissioner of Police and Chief of Special Cell in the Delhi police and had earlier served as the Special CP in the Perception Management & Media Cell Division and Operation.
