The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the empanelment of 34 Indian Revenue Service (Income Tax) officers in the rank of Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax (PrCCIT) at Level 17 of the pay matrix for the panel year 2025. However, the promotion of Mr. Shrikant Kumar Ambastha has been deferred.
