Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has announced the appointment of Ms. Neeti Sarkar, a senior Indian Railway Accounts Service (IRAS) officer, as Executive Director (Finance) on deputation. Her appointment is effective from 18th June 2025 and she will be considered part of the company’s Senior Management Personnel. Also Read: Dr. S.V.S. Narayana Murty Given Additional Charge as Director (Production & Marketing) at MIDHANI – Know More About Him Ms. Sarkar’s deputation is approved up to 31st July 2029, the date of her superannuation, or until further orders, whichever is earlier. This is subject to the Government's approval for exemption from the rule of immediate absorption for her tenure in RVNL. An officer of HAG/IRAS and belonging to the 1995 batch (DITS 04.09.1995), Ms. Sarkar was previously serving as PFA/Central/North Western Railway in Jaipur before being relieved on 16th June 2025 for her new assignment. About RVNL RVNL is a key infrastructure arm of the Ministry of Railways, responsible for executing high-value rail construction and development projects across India. It holds Navratna CPSE status and plays a critical role in modernizing India’s railway network.
