Bengaluru: Bengaluru Metro Blue Line driverless train has reached the city's metro depot, marking a major step toward the launch of Namma Metro's airport corridor. The six-coach train, manufactured by Bharat Earth Movers Limited (BEML), has been delivered to the Baiyappanahalli Metro depot for testing and validation. The development is important because the Blue Line will connect Bengaluru's technology hubs and residential areas with Kempegowda International Airport through a modern driverless metro system.
