New Delhi: In a significant development for India’s renewable energy sector, NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (NTPC REL), a subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), has signed a bilateral Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with PTC India Limited for the supply of 1,200 MW of solar power. The agreement marks a major step in strengthening large-scale green energy procurement in the country. Landmark Bilateral Solar Power Agreement Under the agreement, NTPC REL will supply 1,200 MW of solar power to PTC India Limited.
