These are the civil servants who lost their life while battling against the deadly second wave of Covid 19 in India.

With the devastating wave of Covid 19 which has left the country in a deteriorating situation, many civil servants have contributed their life while fighting the battle with the virus.
The latest was recorded on Monday, when Anant Tambe, a 32 year old IRS officer took his last breath after loosing the fight against the virus. He was serving as an additional private secretary to Union Minister Prakash Javadekar.
In Bihar, before the death of Arun Kumar Singh, Chief Secretary Bihar, another IAS officer lost his battle against the fatal virus and was recorded dead on 14 April. The official named Vijay Ranjan was a 2008 batch IAS officer.
Among many other who lost their lives during this second wave of Covid 19, was a 1985 batch IAS officer Deepak Trivedi, who died just a day before his retirement.
Just before Trivedi’s death, a DIG rank officer in Gujarat, Mahesh Nayak, also lost his life in Vadodara on 11 April.
