IFoS officer P. Sivakumar has been designated as the Member Secretary (JS level) of the Central Silk Board in Bengaluru, with a term of five years.
As per an order released by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Friday, September 15, 2023, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has given its approval for Mr. Sivakumar’s appointment. His tenure commences from the date he assumes office and extends for five years or until further directives are issued, whichever occurs earlier. Mr. Sivakumar will succeed Ranjit Ranjan Okhandiar (IOFS: 1987) in this role.
