IPS Mahesh Bhagwat’s Mentorship Creates 161 Success Stories, 22 In the Top 100

The UPSC CSE 2022 results have become part of not just candidates’ success stories, but some mentors, who have handheld them through their journey, and IPS Mahesh Bhagwat is one such mentor.

A total of 161 aspirants of UPSC CSE 2022 including two out of the top four top rankers, Ishita Kishore (AIR-1) and Smriti Mishra (AIR-4) were mentored by senior IPS officer and Telangana CID chief Mahesh Bhagwat, who has been coaching UPSC aspirants for a decade now and has mentored over 700 students in 2022.
The 1995 batch officer of the Telangana cadre has guided and mentored over 161 candidates out of the 933 selected this year, including 22 who are part of the Top 100.
These 22 include Maharashtra topper Kashmira Sankhe (AIR-25), Yadav Suryabhabhan Achchelal (AIR-27), Kritika Goyal (AIR-14), GVS Pawandutta (AIR-22), Sandeep Kumar (AIR-24), Priyansha Garg (AIR-31), and Richa Kulkarni (AIR-54), among several others.Related Stories
Similarly, over 139 candidates with ranks between 101 and 933 were mentored for interviews by him and his team.

The officer has been passionately guiding students through their journey. He guided 100 out of 685 selected aspirants last year, and over 131 out of 765 candidates during UPSC CSE 2020.
