IPS officer Karuna Sagar is providing relief and measuring welfare to the rural community of Jehanabad, Bihar.

He visited 3-4 schools, every time he visited rural Jehanabad, and had a one-to-one interaction with the school kids, trying to explain to them the values that make them better citizens and pro-progressive.

As part of his educational development program, Mr. Sagar has decided to improve the infrastructure of five public libraries in rural Jehanabad.

The officer has also written a pamphlet, to describe his ideas to the youth and has printed and distributed over 10,000 of them to the youngsters of the village, through schools, youth groups, panchayats, etc.

Mr. Sagar organizes ‘Saraswat Samman Samaroh’ where he presents awards to all those people who are working towards the empowerment and development of the Jehanabad district,

His motive is to reach out to the maximum number of people and win their confidence.

For his exemplary work, the officer has not only gained the Certificate of Excellence recently but was also awarded the prestigious Pragya award.
