IAS Officer who Failed In Graduation

Often, after facing failure in life, many people give up. But there is also an IAS officer who at one point of time failed in many subjects in graduation.

Mr. Anurag belongs to Katihar district of Bihar. He studied till 8th through Hindi medium. But in the 12th class, he failed in the pre-board examination of Maths.

For college studies, Anurag was admitted to Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi. But during his graduation, he failed in many subjects.

But he never gave up & passed the UPSC exam twice with his hard work. In the year 2018, he became an IAS officer by securing 48th rank.

He qualified UPSC in his first attempt in 2017 and secured 677 rank. Secured 48th rank in UPSC CSE exam 2018.

Anurag strongly believes that if you want to prepare for UPSC, leave your previous education background and start fresh.

Working on his shortcomings, Anurag made notes, gave tests fiercely. Understood every aspect of the exam properly and got selected in the year 2017 in the very first attempt.

Giving a lesson to the candidates preparing for UPSC, he says that this is such an exam, in which you can reach heights even starting from zero.

He says that one should not show haste while preparing & study each & every topic very deeply. Hard work and good strategy is the key to crack this exam.
