IFS Officer Who Becomes IPS

Navdeep Aggarwal, a resident of Firozpur, Punjab, first passed UPSC in 2016 and became IFS. HIs rank was 21st. But his dreams were bigger than this.

In 2017, Navdeep joined as Deputy Forest Officer in Pathankot.But while working, he realized that he has to work closely with the administration and the police. Then, he decided to give the UPSC exam again.

Navdeep cleared UPSC Exam again in 2022 with all India 150th rank and becomes IPS. Along with his job, he also did UPSC preparation.

Navdeep is married to Chandan Priya, who is posted as Senior Manager in Punjab National Bank Moga. He told that both the husband and wife started preparing for UPSC together, his wife is still trying.

Navdeep says that his wife also supported him to appear in this exam again. It took him a whole year for this preparation.

Navdeep says that as a DFO and other posting, i managed somehow my studies. I used to take out three hours in the morning. Used to solve prelims questions between getting the employees to write notes and final printed drafts.

Navdeep said that he used to study for 14 hours during his holidays and weekends. He further says that working candidates who are not able to prepare for their exams. He should take two months leave.
