Labourer Mother's Daughter Became IPS

Every year many such aspirants pass in UPSC, the toughest exam of the country, who reach this destination after facing all the difficulties in their life.

IPS Divya Tanwar of 2021 batch is counted among such officers. She belongs to Mahendergarh, Haryana & an inspiration for every UPSC exam aspirant.

Even though her mother was less educated, she always inspired her daughter to keep studying and move forward.

The economic condition of her family was not very good. Due to the death of his father during her schooling, situation got worsen. 

But her mother Babita Tanwar worked as a laborer and never let his studies come in the way.

Divya did not take any coaching to prepare for UPSC exam. Divya became an IPS at the age of 21 in 2021 by securing 438th rank in her first attempt.
