Leaving MNC job to become IPS

IPS Abhishek belongs to Katihar, Bihar. After completing his 12th from Patna, he did his engineering (B.Tech) from a college in Calicut.

After doing B.Tech, Abhishek was selected in a multinational company with a very good package.  

During his job in MNC, he had to follow the time zone of western countries. Meaning, had to sleep during the day and work awake the whole night. 

After some time, he started feeling that it was impacting his health. So he decided to quit the job.

He had a problem of bronchitis in his childhood. That's why he had the habit of doing yoga. Also being health conscious, he used to wake up early and go to the gym. This was also a reason to quit the job.

He started preparing for civil service in Delhi. In 2012, he gave his first attempt, in which he was disappointed after failing. But then his friends guide him and he started preparing again.

In the year 2013, he cracked the UPSC exam, in which he was selected for the Indian Railway Service.

But in the 2014 UPSC exam, he was selected for the Police Service. Presently he is posted in Shamli, Uttar Pradesh.
