The Gadchiroli police in Maharashtra has transformed the lives of tribals in the past few years

Now under a new initiative of SP Gadchiroli, libraries are being built in each outpost of the district

Kotgul village, once a hotbed of Naxalism, has now got a public library under this newly launched scheme by the police

With the help of this library around 6000 tribal youth will get educational support

Moreover the beautiful library has come after a joint effort of both police and local people

The initiative kicked off in the month of December last year, and till now eight libraries have come up

The police department aims at setting up around 60 libraries, one in each outpost, till the end of April
