Children of East Jaintia Hills, Meghalaya will now play football in the rains too

DC Abhilash Baranwal, IAS, gifted an artificial turf which won’t get muddied and slippery during rains

The funds were generated from the District Mineral Foundation Trust which is headed by the District Collector

This artificial turf has underground drainage facility which will still be playable after a heavy rainfall.
