Mr. Yatish Kumar, who belongs to Munger, Bihar, is an IRAS (Indian Railway Administrative Services) officer currently serving as the Chairman and Managing Director of Braithwate & Co. Ltd, Kolkata. He is the youngest officer to be appointed as the CMD of a PSU. However, this is not the only feather in his cap.
The officer’s heart beats for poetry and literature, and he has carved out a separate identity for himself in the literary field with his signature style of writing and expression of thoughts. Recently, his poetic collection titled ‘Antas Ki Khurchan’ was published and is drawing praises from all around. The book consists of poems on emotions and social issues.
Apart from being a sensitive poet, he is also known for introducing unique ‘poetic reviews’ of books. Till now he has reviewed more than 40 novels, stories and travelogues.
On the service front, the officer is setting an example by increasing the profits of a debt-ridden company manifold.
