Indian Forest Service Officer Ramesh Pandey has shared a video of a Caracal who uses 20 different ear muscles to manoeuvre their large tufted ears.
The Caracals have a large, pointy ears, tipped with black tufty ears and it is the trademark of this species.
He wrote, “Caracal uses 20 different ear muscles to manoeuvre their large tufted ears. Their ears act as super sensitive parabolic sound antennas and help them to locate their preys in vast desserts and grasslands.”
