Senior IFS officer from Telangana Mohan Pargaien has shared a video on Twitter of a tiger trying to find its way around a road construction site. The magnificent tiger is seen walking to and fro, at times stopping to stare, bewildered by the sounds of an excavator close by, and of workers on the site screaming out loud, excitedly.

Sharing this disturbing video, Mr. Pargaien writes: Why we need structures like underpass while making new or widening existing roads for ease of movement of our animals? He also added in the tweet that the video is a “WA forward stating to be between Kota and Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan”.
Indeed, the video once again highlights the importance of underpasses in wildlife conservation, to save them from being run over by vehicles while moving from one area to another.
