IRAS officer Amit Singh has posted a beautiful picture of a train and a railway station all decked up for Onam. The picture is of a railway station in Kerala, a state where this harvest festival is celebrated with great devotion and preparations.
In tune with the festive spirit, the railway station, too, has been decorated with flowers, turning the otherwise crowded-with-people place into a crowded-with-flowers one. It seems flowers, for a change, has taken over a human centre of activity. The railway station now looks like a flower garden beckoning everyone to join in the festivities of Onam!
