Odisha is one of the fastest growing state in the country when it comes to urban development and providing basic amenities to common people. Under 5T governance initiative, the state continues to lead in providing essential urban infrastructure, amenities and services to all citizens.
Now central government is also praising the state. India’s G20 sherpa and former NITI Aayog chief, Amitabh Kant, an IAS officer of 1980 batch of Kerala cadre, has praised the Odisha government for its progressive development in urban areas. He believes that smart urbanisation of Odisha and such transformation are going to help to everyone.
Recently, he visited Odisha and posted the photos of some incredible work from the state on social media platform X.
He wrote, “During recent visit to Odisha delighted to see the State making rapid strides in urban rejuvenation. The EKAMRA project for the development of the Lingaraj Temple in Bhubaneswar, the renovation of the Taladanda Canal, and the ABADHA scheme for upgrading Puri’s infrastructure will have huge multiplier impact, enhance quality of lives of citizens, green vast areas and have a huge demonstration impact.”
