PM Modi’s push for ‘Make in India’ is bringing in the desired results as can be obvious in MNCs choosing the country as their ‘production house’. Retail major Walmart is getting their bicycles made in Ludhiana, Punjab.
India’s Ambassador to United States, Mr. Taranjit Singh Sandhu, posted about the historical launch of Walmart’s ‘made in India’ bicycles, which are being manufactured by India’s very own Hero Ecotech.
In the manufacturing of the cycles, more than 90% of the raw material is being sourced from within the country.
Truly made in India for the world, as Ambassador Sandhu puts it!
