Eshani’s UPSC journey is a demonstration of resilience and persistence. In her third attempt, she achieved the Indian Revenue Service (IRS), yet chose to aim higher, reflecting her clarity of purpose and commitment. Her journey underscores the importance of both strategic preparation and mental fortitude, supported by her parents’ unwavering encouragement.

In an exclusive interview with Indian Masterminds, Eshani shared her approach to the personality test or the interview round, offering valuable advice for aspirants. She stresses the need to thoroughly prepare one’s Detailed Application Form (DAF), as it forms the basis of many interview questions. Confidence, clarity, and authenticity in responses are crucial, she says, along with staying updated on current affairs and maintaining a balanced perspective on issues.

When it comes to attire, Eshani advises candidates to dress in formal, neutral-coloured outfits that convey professionalism and comfort. She highlights the importance of first impressions, as the interview panel assesses not only knowledge but also demeanour and communication skills.

Eshani credits her parents for being her emotional anchors throughout her UPSC journey. Their belief in her abilities helped her overcome setbacks and stay focused. As she prepares for her upcoming interview, her insights serve as an inspiration for others, showcasing how determination, strategy, and self-belief can turn dreams into reality.
