In an amusing incident in Sinner taluka of Nasik district, a Leopard chased a small Cat and both fell into a well. But leopard did not kill the cat and both were rescued by Forest department later. This amazing incident went viral on social media, after sharing by IAS officer Deepak Kapoor and many journalists on twitter.
Fun fact is that after felling down into the well, the cat is seen displaying aggression towards the large cat.
Both survived for hours trapped together in a well they had fallen into. Later they were rescued unharmed by forest department. Though the forest department officials said the two cats may have fallen into the well while the larger predator was chasing the smaller prey, once trapped, getting out of the well became a priority for the felines as survival instinct kicked in.
