NIA Arrests Mumbai Cop Riyaz Kazi

Assistant Police Inspector Riyaz Kazi has been arrested by the NIA over Antilia bomb scare case.

In a new turn of events following the Bomb scare case at India’s richest man and Reliance Industries’ Chairman, Mr. Mukesh Ambani’s residence, Antilia, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested Assistant Police Inspector Riyaz Kazi in Mumbai, for allegedly helping Sachin Vaze in connection with the explosive-laden SUV found outside Mr. Ambani’s house.

According to reports, Mr. Kazi was arrested on Saturday night (11 April) by an NIA special holiday special court. He has been sent to custody till April 16.

An NIA official stated that he was arrested after his role was identified by the anti-terror probe agency.
