IPS officer Sonali Mishra has assumed charge as Inspector General, BSF Punjab Frontier on 26th July 2021. Ms Mishra is an officer 1993 Batch from Madhya Pradesh cadre and has vast experience of on serving on various role in the state.
She has served in CBI at Delhi and Mumbai as SP and DIG. She has also led the Indian CIVPOL contingent to UN in Kosovo and has been awarded the prestigious PPMDS in 2020 for her Distinguished Service. Ms Mishra has also commanded the militancy infested Kashmir Frontier in BSF.
