On Wednesday, the Department of Personnel and Training issued the official order regarding the appointment of Mr. Sajjan Singh R Chavan as Director of Census Operations (DCO)/Director of Citizen Registration (DCR), Tamil Nadu & Pudducherry. He is a 2008 batch IAS officer from the Tamil Nadu cadre.
Besides this, the official order further states that, he has been appointed to the post under the Central Staffing Scheme for a period up to 31.12.25 with effect from the date of taking charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
