Six months ahead of its next Assembly polls, the Rajasthan government transferred 74 IAS officers with immediate effect. Rajasthan Personnel Department issued the orders for the major bureaucratic reshuffle.
While Commissioner Ravi Jain has been removed from his post in Jaipur Development Authority and Jogaram has been appointed JDC in his place. IAS officer Kunjilal Meena has been transferred from UDH and appointed as Director General, Indira Gandhi Panchayati Raj Institute, while IAS officer T. Ravikant has been given additional responsibility of UDH.
Along with this, special officers (OSD) have been appointed for 15 newly created districts instead of collectors. Appointments of OSDs to two newly created districts each in Jaipur and Jodhpur are awaited.
