The Appointments Committee of the Union Cabinet has approved the extension of the deputation tenure of Debasish Prusty, a 2000-batch IAS officer of Rajasthan cadre, as Deputy Chief of Mission (DCM), Embassy of India, Brussels (joint secretary level) for the period from 01.07.2023 to 31.03.2024 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
An order to this regard was issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Wednesday.
