J&K: IAS Piyush Singla Assigned Additional Charge of Planning

The J&K government has issued an order assigning additional charge to Dr. Piyush Singla. The IAS officer is currently Administrative Secretary in Revenue Department and will now take charge of Administrative Secretary, Planning, Development and Monitoring Department in addition to his prior duties. The order was issued by GAD Commissioner Secretary on Thursday.

Dr. Singla will take the charge of Secretary, Planning, in place of Dr. Raghav Langer, who was relieved by the J&K government on October 3 after he completed his five-year deputation period in the Union Territory.

An IAS officer of 2012 batch from AGMUT cadre, Dr. Singla has served as Development Commissioner, Udhampur, ADC Jammu , Additional CEO Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board and Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal in North Kashmir. He is also a winner of National e Governance Award for Project SAKOON.
