Rajesh Uike has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to the Republic of Tajikistan. An order in this regard was issued by Ministry of External Affairs which said that he will soon take charge. An Indian Foreign Service Officer of 2006 batch, Mr. Uike is currently serving as the Joint Secretary, Ministry of External Affairs. He is also the officer to be appointed as the First Secretary (Political & Information) to Bangladesh.
