Indian Foreign Service officer of 1996 batch, Mr. Sandeep Chakravorty, has been accredited as the next Ambassador of India to the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste for now. His residence will be in Jakarta. He is currently serving as Ambassador of India to the Republic of Indonesia. Mr. Chakraborty had earlier served as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of External Affairs.
