1993 batch IPS officer Varinder Kumar has been made Special DGP-cum-Chief Director Vigilence Bureau, Punjab. He was Special DGP-cum-Chief Director Vigilence Bureau, Punjab and in addition Special DGP, Intelligence, Punjab.

1997 batch IPS officer RK Jaiswal has been appointed as ADGP Intelligence, Punjab (Head of Wing).
