Five IAS officers of Punjab are awaiting posting orders as the government is yet to assign any work to them. The officers are:
DK Tiwari, Nilkanth Avhad, Ajit Balaji Joshi, Neelima and Gurpreet Singh Khaira. Mr. Tiwari was earlier posted as administrative secretary in the rural development and panchayat department. While, Mr. Avhad who is from 1999 batch, was posted as Director in the same department.
Officer Neelima was booked by Punjab Vigilance Bureau in an alleged corruption case in January last year. and officer Joshi of 2003 batch had got his cadre changed to Punjab and reported to the state two months ago.
