In a major administrative reshuffle in Rajasthan, the newly elected government of CM Bhajan Lal Sharma has transferred and posted 33 IAS officers. It includes 8 district collectors as well.
Department of Personnel has issued the orders.
1993 batch senior IAS officer Alok has been reassigned as the Additional Chief Secretary of the Power Department. He was previously serving as the principal residential commissioner in New Delhi.
Aparna Arora, also an IAS officer of 1993 batch, will now serve as the Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) of the Forest, Environment, and Climate Change Department. She was ACS, Revenue and Colonization Department.
1996 batch IAS officer Dinesh Kumar has been made the Principal Secretary of Revenue and Colonization Department. He was on the post of Principal Secretary, General Administration, Cabinet Secretariat, Estate, State Motor Garage and Civil Aviation Department and ex-officio Chief of Protocol and Director General, Civil Aviation, Jaipur.
1997 batch IAS officer Naveen Mahajan has been made the Chairman and Managing Director of Rajasthan State Warehousing Corporation instead of the post of Director General of Harishchandra Mathur Rajasthan State Institute of Public Administration and ex-officio Principal Secretary, Training, Rajasthan, Jaipur.
Among the other notable transfers are Bhanu Prakash, V. Saravana Kumar, and Urmila Rajoria.
District Collectors Transfers
2011 batch IAS officer and Bikaner’s collector Bhagwati Prasad Kalal has been replaced by Namrata Vrishni, an IAS officer of 2013 batch. Mr. Kalal has been posted as Director, Mines and Geology Department, Udaipur.
While Shahpura’s collector, Tikamchand Bohra, has been succeeded by Rajendra Singh Shekhawat.
Additionally, Sriganganagar’s collector Anshdeep, has been replaced by Lok Bandhu.
Barmer’s collector, Arun Kumar Purohit has been reassigned as Nagaur’s collector, with Nishant Jain taking over his former position.
Similarly, Sanchor’s collector Puja Kumari Parth will now serve as Jalore’s collector, while Shakti Singh Rathore will replace her.
