Senior IAS officer Vijay Amruta Kulange has been appointed as the new Managing Director of OMFED (Odisha State Cooperative Milk Producers Federation). A notification has been issued by the state General Administration and Public Grievance Department in this regard. This development came after his sudden transfer from the post of Commissioner BMC and he went on leave for a month. He was replaced by Rajesh Pravakar Patil as Commissioner, Bhubaneshwar Municipal Corporation.
Mr. Kulange is an IAS officer of 2013 batch. According to the notification, the post of MD, OMFED, Bhubaneswar is declared equivalent in status and responsibility to the post of Joint Secretary. The officer started his career from Odisha’s Dhenkanal district and also served as DC, Ganjam. He has also written a Marathi book ‘Aajcha Diwas Maza’, describing his journey.
