Sivakumar V Vepakomma is all set to become the next Director (Power System) of the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI), a PSU under the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy. He was recommended for the position by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) on Tuesday. He is currently serving as Chief General Manager at NTPC Green Energy Limited.
Mr. Vepakomma has been recommended for the position of Director (Power System) at SECI from a pool of ten candidates interviewed by the PESB selection panel on March 19. Of the ten candidates, four were from NTPC, two from PFC, and one each from SECI, Grid India, Power Grid, and Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Co. Ltd.
