In a significant diplomatic reshuffle, the Government of India has appointed four Indian Foreign Service (IFS) officers to key ambassadorial positions in Ukraine, the Philippines, Jordan, and Cameroon. The details of the appointments are as follows:
IFS officer Ravi Shankar of 1995 batch who is currently Additional Secretary in the Ministry of External Affairs, has been appointed as the Ambassador of India to Ukraine.
IFS officer Harsh Kumar Jain of 1993 batch who is currently the Ambassador of India to Ukraine, has been appointed as the Ambassador of India to the Republic of the Philippines.
IFS officer Manish Chauhan of 1994 batch who is currently the Ambassador of India to Portugal, has been appointed as the Ambassador of India to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
IFS officer Vijay Khanduja of 2004 batch who currently the Ambassador of India to the Republic of Zimbabwe, has been appointed as the High Commissioner of India to the Republic of Cameroon.
