Shortly after the Election Code of Conduct ended, the government of Kerala carried out a huge bureaucratic reshuffle by transferring many IAS officers across the state.
Mr. S Harikishore (2008 batch), Director of the Department of Commerce and Industries, was mandated to assume charge as the new PRD secretary and take up the additional role as Managing Director (MD) of KSIDC.
Mr. V R Premkumar (2014 batch) became MD of the Water Authority, replacing Mr. Bhandari Swagat Ranveer Chand (2010-batch). Mr. Binu Francis (promotee IAS) was made Joint MD of the Water Authority, replacing Dr. Dinesan Cheruvat, and was given additional charge as Executive Director of the Jalanidhi Project.
Ms. Haritha V Kumar (2013 batch) became MD in the Department of Women and Child Welfare, while Mr. K Harikumar became the Director in the Department of Mining & Geology. Officer Harikumar received additional charge as Deputy Secretary and Director-in-charge of project implementation.
IAS Suraj Shaji was transferred as Director of Urban Affairs while bearing the additional charge as the CEO of LIFE Mission. IAS Seeran Sambasiva Rao was made Director of the Department of Survey and Land Records and Principal Director of the Department of Local Government.
Mr. M G Rajamanickam (2008 batch) was appointed Secretary of Devaswom and was given additional charge as Director of Amrit Mission. Ms. T V Anupama (2010 batch) was made Special Secretary in the Department of Local Government. Mr. Pranabjyoti Nath (2005 batch), the incumbent Secretary in the Department of Sports and Youth Affairs, was given additional charge of the Minority Welfare Department.
Mr. Ratan Kelkar (2003 batch), the incumbent Secretary of IT, was given additional charge of the cooperation department. Dr. Rajan Khobragade (1993 batch), the Additional Health Chief Secretary, was given additional charge of the Cultural Department.
