Odisha: Major IAS Reshuffle, Usha Padhee To Retain Her Additional Charge As Principal Secy, Housing & Urban Development

The government of Odisha recently carried out a bureaucratic reshuffle by transferring several IAS officers across the state. Mr. Nikunja Bihari Dhal (1993-batch IAS officer), the incumbent Additional Chief Secretary to CM Mohan Majhi, was allowed to remain in additional charge as the Chairman of IDCO.

Another 1993 batch IAS officer, Mr. Surendra Kumar, presently posted as the Additional Chief Secretary to the government, was given additional charge of the Parliamentary Affairs Department.

Mr. G Mathivathanan (1994-batch), the incumbent Additional Chief Secretary in the Housing and Urban Development and Parliamentary Affairs Department, was transferred as the Director General (Training Coordination) of the Gopabandhu Academy of Administration in Bhubaneswar, replacing Ms. Anu Garg (1991 batch).

Ms. Usha Padhee (1996 batch), the incumbent Principal Secretary in the Skill Development & Technical Education Department with the additional charge of Principal Secretary in the Commerce & Transport Department, was allowed to retain her additional charge of Principal Secretary in the Housing & Urban Development Department.

Mr. Hemant Sharma (1995 batch), presently posted as Principal Secretary in the Industries Department with the additional charge as Chairman of IPICOL was allowed to retain his additional charge as the Principal Secretary in the MS & ME Department.

Mr. Saswat Mishra (1996 batch), presently posted as the Principal Secretary to the Governor with an additional charge as Chairman of the OSSSC, was allowed to retain his additional charge as the Principal Secretary in the Finance and Energy Departments.

Mr. Vishal Kumar Dev (1996 batch), the incumbent Principal Secretary in the Department of Finance with additional charge as the Chairman of GRIDCO and Principal Secretary in the E & IT Department, was permitted to remain in additional charge as the Chairman of OFDC.

Mr. Bhaskar Jyoti Sarma (1999 batch), the incumbent Commissioner of the Land Records & Settlement, was made Commissioner-cim-Secretary in the Sports & Youth Services Department.

Mr. R. Vineel Krishna (2005 batch), last posted as Sports Secretary and Special Secretary to the Chief Minister, was transferred as the Commissioner in Land Records & Settlement.
