In a significant administrative overhaul, the N. Chandrababu Naidu led Andhra Pradesh government has implemented a series of transfers affecting 62 IAS officers. The reshuffle, orchestrated by Chief Secretary Neerabh Kumar Prasad, aims to streamline governance and enhance efficiency across various departments.
Key appointments include 2012 batch IAS officer PS Girisha as the new Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Andhra Pradesh Civil Supplies Corporation Ltd., and Manazir Jeelani Samoon, a 2012 batch IAS officer, who assumes office as the Managing Director of Andhra Pradesh State Co-operative Marketing Federation (AP MARKFED).
Advt Kritika Shukla, a 2013 batch IAS officer, has been appointed as the Director of Intermediate Education, with additional charge as Secretary of the Board of Intermediate Education (BIE).
Meanwhile, P. Ravi Subash, also from the 2013 batch, takes charge as Chairman and Managing Director of Central Power Distribution Company Ltd (CPDCL).
The reshuffle comes over a month after Chief Minister Naidu assumed office, signaling his administration’s commitment to governance reforms and effective public service delivery.
