Uttarakhand: IFS Rahul Appointed Director, Rajaji Tiger Reserve

Amidst a recent development, IFS Officer Rahul was appointed as the Director of the Rajaji Tiger Reserve (RTR) in Uttarakhand, replacing IFS Saket Badola. Mr. Rahul, a 2004-batch Indian Forest Service officer, was last posted as Director of the Corbett Tiger Reserve. Upon his fresh appointment, IFS Rahul reassured that a successful completion of the Tiger Relocation Project would be his primary agenda and a greater attention shall be paid to the safety of tigers in RTR.
