H. Krishnanunni, an IAS officer from the 2012 Tamil Nadu cadre, has been appointed as the Private Secretary to Jitin Prasad, the Minister of State for Commerce & Industry and Electronics & Information Technology. The appointment, which is specifically tied to the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, will be for a period of five years.
As per the order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), Krishnanunni’s tenure will last for five years, be co-terminus with the Minister’s tenure, or until he ceases to serve as Private Secretary, whichever occurs first. Mr. Krishnanunni will assume his new role at the Deputy Secretary level.
