In a scene straight out of a Bollywood thriller, an unsuspecting family in a quiet Indian village found themselves in the middle of a real-life showdown—two deadly snakes battling fiercely in their bedroom. The chilling encounter, which could have easily turned into a nightmare, was captured on camera and has since gone viral after being shared by Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer Parveen Kaswan on social media.

The family, startled and terrified, immediately called for help after spotting the snakes locked in a mesmerizing and dangerous “duel” right in their home. Kaswan, known for his wildlife conservation efforts, detailed the rescue operation in a post on X (formerly Twitter), where the dramatic footage quickly garnered widespread attention.

“So one of our beat staff got SOS call in the middle of the night yesterday from a village. Imagine these highly venomous ‘Wall’s Krait’ doing duel in somebody’s bedroom. They were rescued and released safely later,” Kaswan wrote, underlining just how perilous the situation was. His post gave a glimpse into the urgency of the rescue operation, highlighting the bravery of the forest staff who ventured into the home to remove the dangerous creatures.

The video shows the two Wall’s Kraits, both known for their lethal venom, twisting and turning in a tense fight—an eerie sight that left many viewers captivated. While some speculated that the snakes might have been mating, Kaswan did not confirm this, focusing instead on the rapid response and the eventual safe release of the reptiles back into the wild.

The response on social media was swift, with many expressing awe and gratitude toward the forest officials. “Thank you to the entire team for the safe release of this beautiful innocent creature,” one user commented. Another chimed in, calling it a scene that felt straight out of a “Bollywood Naag and Naagin” film.

Though the encounter may have frightened the family, they can now breathe a sigh of relief knowing the situation was handled expertly. The episode serves as a reminder of the unpredictable yet incredible encounters that can occur when wildlife crosses paths with humans—and of the dedicated individuals who ensure such encounters end safely for all involved.
