Gandhinagar: The General Administration Department of Gujarat has announced the transfer of 16 IAS officers in a significant administrative reshuffle aimed at streamlining governance and boosting departmental efficiency across the state.
Among the key changes:
- Dilip Kumar Rana (IAS, 2007), serving as Municipal Commissioner, Vadodara, has been appointed as Commissioner of Higher Education, Gandhinagar, replacing Gurav Dinesh Ramesh.
- Dr. N.K. Meena (IAS, 2010), Director of Fisheries, has been assigned to the Urban Development & Housing Department as Municipal Commissioner, Bhavnagar, replacing Hanul Choudhary, who held the post as additional charge.
- Tusharkumar Y. Bhatt (IAS, SCS 2010), MD, Gujarat Informatics Ltd., will take over as Collector, Patan, succeeding Arvind V.
- Manish Kumar (IAS, 2013), MD, Gujarat Livelihood Promotion Company Ltd., has been appointed as Collector, Bhavnagar, replacing D.M. Solanki.
- Arun Mahesh Babu (IAS, 2013), MD, Uttar Gujarat Vij Company Ltd., will serve as the new Municipal Commissioner, Vadodara, succeeding Dilip Kumar Rana.
- R.R. Damor (IAS, SCS 2013) has been moved from Regional Commissioner of Municipalities to Joint Secretary, Climate Change Department.
- Arvind V (IAS, 2014), previously Collector, Patan, will now be Managing Director, Gujarat Informatics Ltd., Gandhinagar.
Other notable changes include:
- Neha Kumari becomes Mission Director, Gujarat State Electronics Mission, Gandhinagar.
- Arpit Sagar takes over as Collector, Mahisagar.
- Shalini Duhan is appointed Collector, Dangs-Ahwa.
- Bhavya Verma becomes Collector, Valsad.
- Ganga Singh is posted as Deputy Municipal Commissioner, Vadodara.
- Manish Gurwani becomes Deputy Municipal Commissioner, Rajkot.
- Gurav Dinesh Ramesh is transferred to Deputy Municipal Commissioner, Surat.
- Surabhi Gautam becomes Regional Commissioner of Municipalities, Vadodara.
- Dr. Prashant Jilova (IAS, 2017) is posted as Regional Commissioner of Municipalities, Ahmedabad, relieving Amrutesh Aurangabadkar of additional charge.
