New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the empanelment of 10 officers from various central services for appointment at the Joint Secretary or Joint Secretary equivalent rank in the Government of India.
The decision enables these officers to be considered for postings at the Joint Secretary level across ministries and departments at the central government.

The empanelment covers officers from Indian Railway Service of Electrical Engineers (IRSEE), Indian Railway Service of Mechanical Engineers (IRSME), Indian Police Service (IPS), and Indian Telecommunications Service (ITS).
