Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will transfer a total of ₹235.58 crore into the bank accounts of 94,234 meritorious students on Friday, July 4, as part of Madhya Pradesh’s flagship Talented Students Incentive Scheme. The state-level event will take place at the Kushabhau Thackeray Convention Center in Bhopal at 11 a.m.
School Education Minister Uday Pratap Singh and Tribal Affairs Minister Dr. Vijay Shah will also be present at the ceremony.
Direct Transfer to Bank Accounts for Laptop Purchase
The scheme grants ₹25,000 to each student who has scored 75% or more marks in the Class 12 board exams conducted by the Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE). The amount is meant for purchasing a laptop of the student’s choice.
More than 500 students and teachers are expected to participate in the main program in Bhopal. The event will also be broadcast live at district headquarters where local ministers, elected representatives, and officials will participate.
Only MP Board Students Eligible
The scheme is exclusive to students of the MP Board. Students from CBSE or other education boards are not eligible for this financial incentive. Only those who appeared in 2025’s MPBSE Class 12 examinations and scored 75% or more will benefit.
Chief Minister: Government Will Stand by Youth Beyond Class 12
Speaking ahead of the event, CM Dr. Mohan Yadav said:
“Our objective is not just to provide laptops but to support talented youth beyond Class 12. Whether they choose to become doctors, engineers, entrepreneurs, or farmers, the government is with them.”
He added that the scheme is a symbol of the government’s commitment to talent and that the initiative is not merely about financial aid, but about planting the seeds of a prosperous and self-reliant future.
