Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh: In a moment of international recognition, B. Lakshmikantham, retired IAS officer and former Joint Executive Officer (JEO) of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), has been conferred the Lifetime Achievement Award by the University of Oxford (Keble College, O’Reilly Theatre), UK. The award was presented by Oxford Mayor Louise Upton during the 14th World Leaders Summit 2025 held on Sunday.
Recognised for Transformative Impact on Education
Lakshmikantham received the award for his commendable contribution to transforming the educational ecosystem, both in Andhra Pradesh and across India. His efforts have been lauded for introducing scalable, inclusive, and sustainable education reforms – especially during his tenure in administrative services and post-retirement roles.

A Decorated Career Spanning Public Administration & Global Outreach
Throughout his illustrious career, Lakshmikantham has earned over 100 national and international awards, including recognitions from Guinness World Records, India Book of Records, and multiple ISO certifications – a rare feat among Indian bureaucrats.
He also serves as Vice Chair – International Trade and Business Alliances at the Europe India Centre for Business and Industry (EICBI), furthering collaborations between India and Europe in business, education, and policy advocacy.
