Chandauli/Ghaziabad: Reaffirming its commitment to public healthcare under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has donated five advanced TB detection machines and 13 microscopes to the Chief Medical Office of aspirational district Chandauli.
CSR Commitment to Healthcare
The medical equipment was formally handed over in the presence of Mr. Vikraman N, Director (HR), BEL, and Mr. Jitendra Singh, GM (DCCS), BEL, alongside the Chief Medical Officer, Chandauli, and the Additional District Magistrate (Judicial), Chandauli.
This initiative is part of BEL’s broader CSR strategy, aimed at strengthening public healthcare infrastructure, particularly in underserved regions.

Boosting Early Detection of TB
The TB detection machines donated by BEL are advanced diagnostic tools designed to identify TB bacteria with high accuracy. Their deployment will help doctors reduce the time taken for diagnosis and enable faster initiation of treatment.
In addition, the microscopes will support medical staff in conducting routine tests more effectively, thereby improving overall diagnostic capabilities at local healthcare centers.
Strengthening Grassroots Medical Infrastructure
By providing this modern equipment, BEL is enabling better healthcare access in Chandauli, one of India’s aspirational districts. The initiative aligns with national priorities to combat tuberculosis and improve healthcare outcomes at the grassroots level.
