Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), the state-owned engineering and manufacturing enterprise, has reported a robust 19 percent year-on-year revenue growth, reaching ₹27,350 crore for the financial year 2024–25, according to a company statement released on Sunday.
The company also achieved its highest-ever annual order inflows, totalling ₹92,534 crore, pushing BHEL’s total order book to an all-time high of ₹1,95,922 crore at the end of FY 2024–25.
In the power sector, BHEL continued its market dominance by securing orders worth ₹81,349 crore. Meanwhile, the industrial segment saw fresh orders worth ₹11,185 crore, reflecting the company’s growing footprint in transportation, defence, process industries, and industrial equipment.
On the execution front, BHEL commissioned or synchronised 8.1 GW of power capacity during the year, showcasing its commitment to timely project delivery and operational excellence.
With double-digit revenue growth, a record-breaking order book, and a strong execution pipeline, BHEL enters FY 2025–26 on solid footing. The company reiterated its focus on infrastructure development, indigenisation, and creating long-term stakeholder value.
