BHEL to Recruit 8 Project Directors and GM (Law) Through Lateral Entry for the First Time

Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), a leading engineering and manufacturing enterprise under the Government of India, has announced its decision to recruit eight Project Directors at the AGM and GM pay scales through lateral entry, marking the first time the company is opening such positions to professionals from the private sector. In addition to the Project Directors, BHEL will also recruit a General Manager (Law) at the GM pay scale.

The recruitment process began with the opening of online applications on January 24, 2025. This move is seen as an effort by BHEL to bring in fresh talent from the private sector, strengthening its leadership team with experienced professionals.
